Almost Christmas

The countdown to Christmas has begun (see cantwaitforchristmas.com). And I leave for Toronto in 9 days!
I’ve also counted how long I’ve been in Japan. It’s been 130 days already. Just 236 days left (due to the leap year…). I haven’t done as much as I had hoped/thought I would. I’ve climbed Fuji, gone to China to visit relatives and my grandfather’s grave, and gone to Nagano for a soccer tournament. Plus I’ve seen some of Tokyo and the surrounding areas such as Kamakura. I still need to go to Kyoto and Nara, Nikko, Osaka maybe, and hopefully Hokkaido for the snow festival. Not to mention, I haven’t trained as much as I had originally planned. I have a lot of stuff to do in the new year!

I think it’s gone.
Yes, you read the headline correctly: Pepsi is planning to release a special Ice Cucumber-flavored drink in Japan this summer. According to the official press release (in Japanese), the new drink flavor will hit stores across Japan on June 12th, but it will only be available for a limited time.

haha put me down for one too. cucumber juice is pretty spicy. i’m curious as to how it’s like in pop form.
