Hey man, we’ve all come so far and have had so many laughs along the way. Hope you bring back many more from Japan!
Take care of yourself, and remember to keep this thing updated! Now that we’re making the switch to Go For Tea, we’re going to be making use of their wireless and reading up on your Japanese antics pretty frequently.
And don’t think we were kidding about the Geishas. Pictures say a million words. :)
Take care bud. See you when you get back.

PS: Happy 23!

Hi Eric,
Have a happy and safe trip to Japan! Wish you all the best in the new culture, and make sure you post on your blog all your wonderful adventures.
Best of luck with the teaching and good luck finding your wife (:
Oh yes, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
All the best,
Cheryl

Hey Eric!
It’s sad that you are leaving. I’m going to miss having to drive you, lol.
I want to hear about all your experiences as that may sway my decision, but hopefully, I’ll be seeing you there sometime either as an overlap or just a visit.
And remember, Japan is in the future and also, we want to see some Japanese yummies brough back, and I ain’t talking about sushi!
John
PS: WE WANT PICTURES!!! LOTS OF THEM!
PPS: Can you bring me back a bottle of Cucumber Flavoured Pepsi, lol. THANKS!!

Eric -> depot -> superasianclarkkent -> blackbelt
It has been a lot of fun having you around here. Too bad we couldn’t finish Alias! But overall lots of priceless moments.
1 year in Japan! I hope you have a fun, exciting and enriching experience there. Be sure to enjoy every single moment you are there.
Oh ya, and get a Geishas to help you learn the language! Go crazy in japan …but not too crazy haha!
by the way, Happy Birthday!

Heya Eric!!
Happy Birthday! :)
So are you excited to leave us? I m sure its a bit of both feelings eh! Kinda happy and kinda sad. Happy to go so far meeting new and excited ppl, and sad that you’re leaving your lovely buddies in Toronto.
Whatever you do in Japan, be safe. And of course, have FUN!! :)
And no matter how much repo guys pressure you to find a hot looking girl, just be yourself! Girls like that best!
Take cares! =)

Hey Eric,
Wow, all the comments make it seem like your moving away to Japan for good. But since you are coming back in a year, hope you make the best of your time in Japan. Go crazy, take lots of pictures and blog often so we can live in Japan vicariously through you.
Anyways, you’ll be missed for a year. Except in basketball because no one can stuff me now. When you return, Repo will be stronger than ever!
Have fun!

Dude,
I can’t believe its been like 5 years that I’ve known you. All good memory with friends such as yourself has not and will not be forgotten. From times with Repo to the time you screamed like a girl during The Ring. All great memories.
Like everyone has already said, bring back a “Geisha” or convert a Canadian girl into one. I’m sure you’ll have a blast but more importantly, be safe. You never know when the Yakuza are around the corner.
Make sure you video capture some cool stuff like Sumo wrestles in stuff. Even if it’s you with some girls. puahaha…
I know. Wrong. But I still wanna know! WE wanna know! Anything about a girl, you write in this thing man. Doesn’t matter if you spotted her on the train. You take the picture and you tell her you’re a photographic journalist for the Japanese Times for Canada. Then post that picture up and tell us why you felt she deserves a blog.
Oh ya and get into some sparring in Japan man. I know I know. Your ass might get kicked cuz they O-G over there but hey man, entertainment for us! Who’s more important? your Viewerssss…
Lol kidding man. Too much random comment. Serious note, have fun. Come back with both arms, legs and all your organs. Don’t turn too Godzilla on us.
Peace for now homey.

Hey Eric,
Sad to see you leave my fellow UTSGer, but at least no more bussing downtown for a year!
I know you’ll have fun in Japan (just look at the game shows they have!) and I bet you’ll pick up the language quick (especially when you pick up something else… haha).
Now you know why were thinking of a possible domain name for you. Blog regularly about all your adventures in and out of the classroom! It may even convince others to go…
I wish you a smooth trip to Japan and a great time while you’re there!
See you in a year! (or December lol)

Hey Eric!
Wow, I can’t believe it’s time for you to head to Japan already. Sorry I couldn’t be there last night to add to your farewell party. From the StalkBook pictures, it looks like you guys had a great time! Blasted night exams.
As with John, I will also miss driving you, as well as your navigating ability, which is better than certain people. I like the fact that your Right actually means Right, and not the other way around.
I hope you have lots of fun and bring back lots of stories! Happy Birthday bud!
See you when you get back!

Hey Eric,
First off I’m going to miss you. You’re always the one to laugh at my jokes, even when no one else does, so thanks for the support!
This message is nothing more than a “have a safe and fun trip” because I know you’re going to come back to us, no matter how famous you get in Japan.
Keep this blog updated! If not, it could only mean two things, you’ve hooked up with a Geisha, or ….. x_x. I’ll hope it’s the former :).
Best of luck to you! May you return a more mature and experienced man, but the same Eric we all know and love
